What Do Aspects Between The Sun And Moon Mean, Part 2?
If you read the daily posts in my blog you'll see that I write about things like a Waxing Trine or Waning Inconjunct between the Sun and Moon. Besides transits of planets and asteroids, monthly aspects between the Sun and Moon have specific meanings. The meanings are influenced by signs but in general they remain the same.
This post will look at Waning aspects that occur every month between the Sun and Moon. They happen between each Full Moon and New Moon (a time of culmination and release). Here is Part 1 (Waxing Aspects).
Aspects occur within phases.
Opposition (introduces the Full Phase): a Full Moon and result or ending. The manifestation of what began during the previous New Moon. An energetic peak (emotions and events are often intensified).
Waning Inconjunct (occurs during the Full Phase): a hard aspect and a necessary but frustrating adjustment to the results of the Full Moon.
Waning Trine:(occurs during the Disseminating Phase) harmony that allows you to connect with others and share (disseminate) your knowledge and experience. Others are usually receptive to what you have to say.
Last Quarter Square (introduces the Last Quarter Phase): "crisis in consciousness". Tension creates discomfort, which pushes you to ask questions because something doesn't feel right. You begin to doubt but this happens on an internal level (things may remain the same on the outside).
Waning Sextile ( occurs during the Last Quarter Phase) a harmonious aspect that enables understanding of how to integrate the questions of the Last Quarter Square. It's so harmonious that it can also be easily overlooked but is essential for helping you move forward.
These phases can be used a general guidelines. For example, if you're planning something on the day of the Last Quarter Square, expect some doubts about what you're doing. The day of the Waning Trine enables smooth contacts with others/the public, but other transits will of course influence this.
