PLUTO RX AND POWER

Pluto is associated with power in different ways:

1. Magnetism. Some people have an intensity, a mystery, that invites closer examination. Their aura is compelling. They have a following (while others are repulsed by them).

2. Fear/horror/secrets. Buried issues and taboo shadow stuff attract a certain type of person who revels in what's forbidden. These things also hold power over individuals who are afraid to reveal them.

3. Hidden resources (psychological and financial). This is the money, the inner strength, the deep commitment that is not public knowledge.

The common theme for all these versions of Pluto's power is what's held back. Pluto does not display - you're drawn towards the mystery or held hostage by the secret or you benefit from resources that no one knew was there. The highest version of this is walking through the valley with your shadow and coming out the other side, strong and authentic. No one can hold anything over you now and that's the power of being at peace with your fears. Maybe you've done the phoenix thing (burnt to ash and risen).

The twisted version is using other people's fears and secrets to manipulate them.

Ultimately, Pluto is about the most profound knowledge (of self and others). Seeing their truths and your own. Knowing their secrets.

Obviously, Pluto Rx will not work this way for everyone. But the potential for empowerment lies in self-knowledge, freedom from fear or the discovery of resources you didn't know you had. And secrets? Some things are more potent if you don't share them- they are your ace in the hole, so to speak. Your secret weapon. But other things fester and grow and take over your life until you expose them to the light. The purge can be immensely powerful and liberating.
