ARIES FULL MOON
This month's Sneak Peek looks at my (my name is Nysha, by the way, a Soul Tribe Member) experience of the Sept 29th Full Moon in Aries.
This Moon opposed my Moon/Uranus conjunction (and there was a transiting Venus/Uranus square exact on the day) so I was expecting the unexpected. So much Uranus. What might happen? I was a tiny bit uneasy because my Moon is in Libra so even though I'm comfortable (sort of) with Uranus I still need the harmony and Uranus loves to upset the balance.
Here's what the Full Moon brought.
I went for my usual, early morning walk (dawn just breaking) and the Moon was bright and low on the horizon. I caught sight of a fox crouched in the grass. "How cool" I thought and then it ran towards me and I had a brief moment of panic until I saw a rabbit dart in front of me followed by the fox. The whole thing was swift and silent. I was just a bystander.
This took about 5 seconds max. Afterwards, I continued walking and was struck by the calm. The hunt was an obvious Aries theme and I found it strange and brief and beautiful (Venus/Uranus). BTW, the rabbit got away - the fox chased it into the grass and then bounded out again, searching.
It gave me a start but I was keenly aware of how ...peripheral...I was to the whole event. The fox and rabbit were caught up in their own dance and I was just "there." I found this oddly soothing - I suppose it spoke to my comfort (Moon) with detachment (Uranus) and being an outsider. And it felt balanced - this was supposed to happen. Circle of life. Something restored.
And that was it - my Full Moon experience. Sometimes astrology is like that - a transit or lunation manifests something that clearly reflects the planetary energy and there doesn't have to be any deeper symbolism (for your life). Sometimes it's enough to just observe what happened.
Or maybe there is a deeper meaning and I haven't seen it yet. Maybe I'll wake up in a month or so and realize "a hah, that's what it meant." But for now, I just see it as a thematic event that felt strangely right and comforting for the moment.
